Leaaf wins South Central Planning and Development Commission Brownfields Contract

March 10 2021 | News

Leaaf is excited to be working with the South Central Planning and Development Commission (SCPDC) and South Louisiana Brownfields Coalition (SLBC) Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Program Managers as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP).

Brownfields are properties that are or may be contaminated with hazardous substances, pollutants, petroleum, or other contaminants that pose a barrier to redevelopment. These properties are often in struggling neighborhoods and areas with blight, deteriorated infrastructure, or other challenges and are eyesores as well as potential health and safety concerns for the community.

Leaaf looks forward to achieving excellent results revitalizing brownfields sites, sparking new life into properties and communities that have declined for years.
